Going to the beach Part 4

Continued from Part 3

After I fell out of the Typist’s fanny pack, I hollered and hollered for her to come back and I tried to catch her. Her legs are a lot longer than mine. I was afraid I’d have to hire a new typist right there at the beach!  Then …

Uncle Roman Saved me!

Uncle Roman saw me trying to catch up with the Typist and he saved me. I like Uncle Roman a LOT!  I felt much better after being rescued.  I rode in the fanny pack a while, then got a towel for me and my pets to sun on.

me and my pets at the beach

Boomer, Raddish, me and Mini-mini all layed on the beach towel for a while.  I put sunscreen all over.

Sunbathing

After a while, my pets went and played nearby while I sunbathed.

Boomer looking toward the water

Boomer was watching the ocean nearby.

Sunning my back at the beach

But he came back to keep an eye out while I was sunning my backside. He is a good watchdog.

I sat with Mini-Mini when she was scared of the water

I saw my cat Mini-Mini hiding under the beachbag. She was afraid of the loud water in the ocean. So I sat with her in the sand to watch the waves safely for a while.

Raddish and I played in the sand

I played in the sand with Raddish. He started about 32 sandcastles. He finished zero sandcastles.

Sunbathing with Mini-mini

Then I sunbathed more and Mini-Mini sat with me.

It was fun sunning and playing in the sand. I agreed with Mini-Mini that the ocean did not look like a safe place to swim. Besides, I heard it had an evil frog in it, and that Under Toad ate unwary swimmers.  Sunning was safer even though I did not put enough sunscreen on my bill apparently.

More beach adventures coming soon.
