Today is the St. Pawtrick’s #Pawpawty! We’re celebrating a whole year of #pawpawty to help animals in need. Isn’t that pawsome?!?! I did not get on twitter by St Pawtrick’s last year, but that was the very first #pawpawty ever. @FrugalDougal started and is master of ceremonies for the monthly #pawpawty for charity. We have prizes and barktenders and sekurity and DJs. It’s so fun! I’ve met so many cool friends and had such a great time. I am so glad @FrugalDougal started #pawpawty! I hope you can come to today’s #pawpawty to celebrate. It runs from 7pm GMT (3pm US EDT) today through 7pm GMT (3pm US EDT) tomorrow.

The very first #pawpawty I attended, though, was the July Surfin Safari. I had just come to live with my cat Sanjee, and I came to the pawty with her.
I did not know how to swim yet, so I had to wear a life preserver. How embarassing!
