I was running errands with the Typist today and saw something great! A Virginia State Police car was blocking the road with its lights flashing. I thought “Oh no, I hope nobody got hurt!” Then I saw what he was doing. He was helping a Momma Duck and her babies across the 4 lane highway! *high wing* to that nice State Trooper. Once Mrs. Duck and the little once got across the street safe, he turned off high lights and drove away. Yay for the nice policeman! That was very nice of him. It made me and the Typist grin really big.

Dat is such an adorable photo – all those little duckies fullowing their mama. I’m so glad the policeman helped dem cross the street. He deserves an award of some kind. Maybe “kindness” award.
