Available curative treatements we feel are torturous for little hope of real recovery, and we won’t put her through that. So sorry to hear your news about your beautiful Sanjee.
I had a black cat, Mama Cat, years ago, who had the same.
After a while she got a bit dribbly so you may have to wipe his chin sometimes
I was assured she wasn’t in pain, so like you, I ruled out the more aggressive options of treatments. **I have never regretted this**. I knew I just wanted her to have a comfy time being utterly spoiled and treasured, and that is what we did.
Each decision you make for Sanjee, jot down somewhere *why* you made that decision. In the future there may possibly be a time when you look back and question yourself- “Why did I…” and “Why didn’t I….”
it will help to remember why, and to reassure yourself that you always did what you thought was best.

I am so sorry to hear about Sanjee. Robyn I am sending prayers, purrs and hugs to you. Casper had cancer of the mouth or maybe the throat. I took Casper in for a nail trim and the Vet that was in with Vet Sandy looked at his mouth and I saw a tooth that was inflamed but Gina did not say a word about it. After some time Casper had a very hard time eating and must have been in pain. I took him back and insisted to see Vet Sandy. She said she had to put him out to check him and told me to come back in a few hours. When I went back Sandy said it was not good at all. I complained to her about Gina not saying a word to bring him back for a check up. When Sandy put Casper down while he was still out is when she pulled back his tongue and showed me the tumors behind his tongue, and it looked like it went down into the throat. The other vet is no longer there and was wondering if she got more compaints. I pray for Sanjee, that he won’t have much pain. God Bless you Robyn and I know that you will know the right time to let Sanjee go.
