I came down to see @FlaCatLady and @KingTuttiFruiti for a while. She needed some help at work, so of course I helped. And I got paid! Of course Tutti and I blew most of it last night cruising for chicks. It was fun, though.

I’m taking a boat to China to find my parents. They are missionary ducks, and I have not heard from them in a long time. I hope they have not gone to Peking which is unsafe for ducks or gotten in trouble with Mr. Orange Sauce! I will find them, though, no matter how long it takes!

I have my Aussie hat to keep the sun out of my eyes, and my t-shirt so I do not get sunburned. I hear the parts of China I will be in don’t have good 4G for the iBone, though, so I will not be able to blog or tweet much.

I am very excited that #SciFiPawty is this weekend! This is the 3rd annual #SciFiPawty and the first two were so much fun that I can’t wait for this one. The 2012 3rd Annual SCIFpawty proceeds will once again benefit One By One Cat Rescue in Kutztown, PA a 501(c)3 no-kill, non-profit organization. This year is in honor of Tippy and Drizzle, @BorisKitty’s foster monsters from One By One who lost their battles with FIP, but not until they gave everyone a ton of smiles.

I’ve been trying on costumes for this year’s pawty. It’s so hard to decide. I want to look good for the Costume Contest, so I want to pick my best one.

There will be barktenders serving Romulan Ale and stuff from the Cookie Cafe At The End of the Universe, DJs playing futuristic music, out of this world quizzes and prizes from great donors and geeky sponsors, Red Shirts with phasers to help out and keep the Romulans away, and more fun than you can shake a sonic screwdriver at.

The weather was icky, but they were only going to be in Roanoke a day, so we went anyway. Real duck weather, but the Typist wasn’t thrilled with it.

But we made it. Of course we did. And we met up with Flat Chey and Chey’s humans. We had lunch! I especially liked the spinach and artichoke dip. Very yummy for a duck.

While we were eating lunch, we noticed a lot of people staring at cars. OOPS! It was a flood! And the Typist’s car was out there.

Now, the Typist is horribly allergic to mold. She was afraid she would never be able to make her car tolerable for her again if the water got into the floorboards and carpet. So she waded out and took it to higher ground. Yay for Typist! She had to go to Walmart and get new cheap shoes and socks and pants to get home, though. QOL It made her laugh too.

It was a really fun adventure and I got to meet new friends. Yay! I hope we get to meet more friends soon.

I just can’t stop traveling.  This weekend I went to Seattle, Washington for the Paw Love tweetup.  Once again, the Typist couldn’t fly herself so she had to stay home. But I got to see a bunch of my friend including @TinyPearlCat, @BlindMaximus and @Hookalopes, @SeattleP as well as @FrugalDougal’s Mom.

PLUS,  I want you to know that I behaved!!!
