Help Find a Home for Whiskers

This is Whiskers. Whiskers is a sweet, older cat who was neglected before her current foster family in the Richmond, VA, USA area took her in. Sadly, the foster family can’t keep Whiskers. Our House of the Mostly Black Cats is full up or I’d get her to come live with me and my kittehs. But hopefully you can, or know someone who can, or can help find someone by letting people know about her. Whiskers deserves to enjoy her golden years in a forever home.

“We have been fostering her for 3 weeks now, trying to get her strength up. She is a quiet, low-maintenance kitty, approximately 15 years old. She mostly sleeps, seems unperturbed by other cats, has a flawless record with litter box usage, and stays off the furniture. She readily eats her thyroid medication, which is inexpensive and available in the form of a meaty treat,” says the foster family.

Please let me know, if you can bring this sweet kitty happy golden years with a forever home. I will get you in touch with the foster family ASAP. Whiskers is in the Richmond, Virginia area, but can travel to a good forever home in the US.

Outlaws and Gangsters

I had a great time at the Outlaws and Gangsters mini-pawty hosted by my friends at @informedferret!

I had so much fun being an outlaw/gangster that I had three costumes! And yes, Robin Hood is an outlaw; just ask the Sheriff of Nottingham.

John Dillengeorge got caught and thrown into Twitter jail. So a bunch of friends decided to break me out. @TheNascarKitty figured 15 sticks of dynamite would blow out that jail wall. Oh yeah. It almost blew me to smithereens. But Nascar got the bactine and my cat Sanjee tossed a cold drink over me, and I was OK. I just needed to change suits because it was somewhat singed. QOL Boy did we have a time!

Tails can knock over small coffeetables

Whose tails? Why my friend Brutus the Dane’s tail, for one. Along with any of our other Great Dane friends! While their tails are wagging with excitement to see the upcoming Marmaduke movie, they’re starting to be concerned. You see, when there are movies and such that feature an animal’, there is often a crazy for buying them. And people bring home, for instance, a very cute cuddly little Great Dane puppy. Well that puppy is NOT going to stay little. And some people can’t handle that, so the poor creature gets taken to a rescue or humane society or spca. All because people weren’t thinking. They didn’t realize that a cute cuddly puppy wasn’t going to stay a cute cuddly puppy. All it takes is some thought. Please do it, and share that thought: Only get pets you are prepared to have when they are tall, fat, ugly, stinky, or whatever, instead of a puppy or kitten.

As my buddy Brutus says,
“Please, help us get the word out that owning a Great Dane, or any dog for that matter, is a great responsibility that should not be taken lightly.”

Successful Pawpawty

Yes, we had another successful #pawpawty! Yay! We raised over $1200 for NW English Springer Spaniel Rescue in the UK. Way to go everybody! *high wing*

Pajama Pawty Tonight
